2010 - 11 PLCT Funding Round
The 2010-11 PLCT funding round is now open.
The 2010-11 Peter Lang Children's Trust grant funding round is now open to applications. Key documents, including the PLCT 2009 -12 Strategic Plan and application documents are now available to download from the PLCT website.
The principal development from previous rounds is the introduction of a two-stage process. Applicant organisations are invited to submit an 'Expression of Interest' application form in the first instance. A short-listing process will then take place, with selected organisations being invited to submit a full application. It is intended that this process will help ensure that organisations who are unlikely to be approved for funding will not be asked to spend many hours completing the full application form.
Organisations considering submitting an application are requested to first read the PLCT 2009-12 Strategic Plan in order to help determine whether their organisation's acitivites are appropriate for PLCT grant support. Organisations are then advised to contact the Trust Development Officer for an informal conversation before submiting any formal documentation. Please see website for contact details.

This will be a competitive process with a strong level of interest already being shown by organisations. Unfortunately the PLCT will not be able to support all applications.
- Friday 2nd October 2010 – PLCT 2010-11 Application documents published online
- Late October/Early November 2009 – Practical Partner Network meeting (to include potential applicants) - please see website for confirmation of venue and date
- Friday 27th November 2009 - Deadline for submission of Expressions of Interest Form
- Monday 21st December 2009 – Shortlisted Applicants invited to complete Full Application Form
- Friday 22nd January 2010 – Deadline for submission of full PLCT Application From
- Friday 19th March 2010 – Applicants informed of PLCT Trust Board final funding decisions
- June 2010 – Release of PLCT first quarter grant payment in advance to newly approved preferred partners
- 1st July 2010 – Start of 2010-11 PLCT Gift Year: New practical partners begin delivery
